Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Sequoia Trees, Yosemite National Park, Death Valley, Zion and Bryce Nationalpark. I have been in almost every single national park in the south west of the USA and it was worth! One\"\"<\/a> unimaginable landscape was the most impressive:
! Grand Canyon !
Well, I have seen a lot during our trip around the world and maybe because of all the stunning stuff I watch every day I was a kind of disappointed after visiting the Yosemite National Park, but maybe this was because of the fact that half of the park is closed during the winter season from October to May. So I drove half-motivated to the Grand Canyon National Park, but this was one of the most impressive natural landscapes on earth I have ever seen. Me,\u00a0 who was already in Namibia at Fishriver Canyon was astonished how huge the Grand Canyon is. Since 2,5 billion years (half the age of the earth) the Colorado River has formed this canyon 277 miles long, 18 miles wide and 1 mile deep.

So, nun bin ich durch mit der Nationalpark-Tour durch den S\u00fcdwesten der USA. Ich habe so ziemlich alles\"\"<\/a> besichtigt, was irgendwie unter Naturschutz stand: Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Sequoia B\u00e4ume, Yosemite, Death Valley, Zion und Bryce National Park.
Vielleicht bedingt dadurch, dass ich mir seit September erstaunliches Zeug anschauen, war ich \u2013 trotz Schwarzb\u00e4r \u2013 ein wenig entt\u00e4uscht vom Yosemite Nationalpark, allerdings muss ich auch zu seiner Verteidigung sagen, dass die H\u00e4lfte w\u00e4hrend der Wintersaison von Oktober bis Mai gesperrt ist. Also fuhr ich halb-motiviert zum Grand Canyon Nationalpark und der war einfach der Br\u00fcller. Das war das beeindruckendste an Landschaft, was ich je in meinem Leben gesehen habe! Ich, der immerhin schon im Fishriver Canyon in Namibia war, hat\u2019s schier umgehauen und ich habe keinen Aussichtspunkt ausgelassen.
Seit 2,5 Milliarden Jahren (das ist halb so alt wie unsere Erde ist) hat der Colorado River den Canyon geformt: 446 km lang, 29 km breit und 1,6 km tief.
