\"\"<\/a>I had a great time in Miami and Key West. Michael and Janet organized a huge flat for the first days I stayed in Miami, although they had to prepare themselves for the next step of their trip they showed me around, helped me to rent a car and spent a lot of time with me.
\"\"I went to the Everglades Nationalpark and to the Kennedy Space Center, then left Miami to go on the cruise liner but after I came back I rented a car again and explored the coastline further south to Key West. I thought about renting a bigger car like a minivan to be able to sleep in the car, because Key West was freaking expensive and no couches on couchsurfing were available. \"\"So I asked the guy at the rental company if I could have a detailed look at the available cars to check wether there was enough space for me with my mattress and my sleeping bag. Five minutes later a young lady who was supervising the parking space asked me what I was doing while I was inspecting each car carefully. I explained my situation and she just said: \u201cGo back inside and take a small or intermediate car, then come out and I will upgrade you!\u201d I could not believe she actually meant that but went back inside anyways and purchased a small rental car for three days. The lady kept her promise and gave me a huge van. \u2013 this is \/ is this America !?
I drove to Key West, enjoyed the beautiful islands\/keys and carribean beaches before I flew to L.A., but that\u2019s another story \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"\"Ich hatte eine gro\u00dfartige Zeit in Miami. Michael und Janet organisierten eine riesen Ferienwohnung f\u00fcr die ersten Tage, bevor ich auf die Kreuzfahrt ging. Obwohl die beiden genug damit zu tun hatten, sich auf n\u00e4chsten Teil ihrer Reise vorzubereiten, zeigten sie mir Miami, halfen mir beim Auto ausleihen und verbrachten viel Zeit mit mir.
\"\"Nachdem wir uns die Everglades und das Kennedy Space Center angeschaut hatten, ging ich auf die Kreuzfahrt, aber als ich wieder kam, lieh ich mir wieder ein Auto aus, um die K\u00fcste weiter s\u00fcdlich zu erkunden. Ich \u00fcberlegte, mir diesmal einen gr\u00f6\u00dferen Wagen auszuleihen, wie beispielsweise einen Kombi oder einen Minivan, um im Fahrzeug schlafen zu k\u00f6nnen, denn die Hotelpreise in Key West waren ordentlich bis unversch\u00e4mt und „Couchsurfing Couches“ waren leider keine aufzutreiben. Am Schalter der Autovermietung fragte ich, ob ich mir die Fahrzeuge einmal n\u00e4her anschauen d\u00fcrfte, um zu checken ob sie gro\u00df genug f\u00fcr mich plus Isomatte und Schlafsack w\u00e4ren.
\"\"F\u00fcnf Minuten sp\u00e4ter fragte mich drau\u00dfen die „Parkplatz-Superwiserin“ was ich denn da an den Autos rumspielen w\u00fcrde. Ich erkl\u00e4rte die ganze Geschichte und die junge Dame meinte nur: \u201eGeh wieder rein und buch eine kleine Wagenklasse, wenn du dann wieder raus kommst, gebe ich dir ein Upgrade!\u201c Ich wollte es nicht glauben, ging aber rein und bestellte f\u00fcr drei Tage einen Kleinwagen und bekam von der Parkplatz Lady einen gr\u00f6\u00dferen Van \u2013 das ist \/ ist das Amerika?!
Ich fuhr runter nach Key West, genoss das karibische Flair und die sch\u00f6nen Str\u00e4nde, bevor ich nach L.A. flog, aber das ist eine andere Geschichte \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
